Military  Command Post of the Future (CPoF)

Confusion can be your worst enemy.

There's no place more chaotic, stressful, and dangerous than battlefields, where confusion can be disastrous.

Until now, those battlefield decisions were made based largely on sporadic reports via radio. Miscommunication and cumbersome analysis can eat up critical time and put lives at risk.

Through The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and its Command Post of the Future (CPoF) program, Viz is using CoMotion-based software to change battlefield communication and analysis.

The goal is to fluidly transfer the perspectives of individual commanders among all participants on the battlefield. Our intuitive interface visually displays those perspectives, offering every participant a macro view based on micro views of the situation. Now able to quickly extract meaning from data and the possible outcomes of actions, commanders make decisions more quickly, more efficiently, and (more important) better than the enemy does.

Results of user testing by generals and officers have been dramatic:

300% increase in communications
300% increase in situational awareness
400% increase in successful execution

Now, bear in mind that these are tough customers. Because they put lives on the line (including their own), they place their trust only in tools that work without fail.

If you command military forces or a business, call us and we'll help you outmaneuver your competition.
